Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is an open 24 hours a day every day of the year. The Kilauea Visitors Center is open daily from 7:45 AM to 5:00 PM. The Jaggar Museum is open each day from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is 45 minutes from Hilo Hawaii on Highway 11 driving South West. The climate at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park can change rapidly, expected it to be rainy and chilly anytime of the year. Entrance fee for Hawaii Volcanoes National Park is $10 for a vehicle, $5 for pedestrians and bicyclists.
